Minerva LX Tycho

Tycho is a moon-inspired special edition of the Minerva keyboard, featuring a Beige build paired with a hand-patinaed brass weight, created in limited quantity.

This special configuration features a 6063 aluminum top and bottom case with Beige electrophoresis coating, anchored by a hand-patinaed brass weight. The patina is a chemical process with orange and blue coming through as the brass oxidizes, inspired by the coloring found across the moon's surface. Every weight is unique — no two patinas come out exactly alike.

Minerva is a 60% full isolation sleeve-gasket keyboard featuring a minimal design language, 5-row macro column, and hidden screw assembly.

Tycho is offered as a fully preconfigured kit with no configuration required. Every component is locked in as shown: plate, weight, PCB, and finish.

Patina & Protective Coating

The brass weight is raw and uncoated. The patina will continue to shift and develop over time with handling and exposure — that's part of the piece, not a flaw.

Protective Coating Add-On (+$29 USD): Seals the patina with a clear satin lacquer formulated specifically for patinated metal, preventing further oxidation and handling wear. Note: the coating may mute the depth and contrast of the raw finish, especially in the blues and purples.
