DCS Good Morning is a keyset from the minds of Daycare, a UK-based group of hobbyists.
Using the beautiful and iconic BBQ teal, a rich pink, tasty yellow, and generic white with no special meaning, these colours are inspired by the Daycare60 and Garderie keyboards.
The set will be manufactured by Signature Plastics, and is DCS profile with Gorton legends. As is the nature of small runs, expenses climb quickly and we have done our best to tailor the kitting to keep costs down, while maintaining a suitable amount of coverage. Kitting has already been decided and is unlikely to change.
The UK-friendly kitting makes this a suitable set for even the most diehard UK ISO user. We've included support for both a 6.25 and 7u bottom row, both split shifts, and split backspace. Stepped caps was also a must-have. While the lairy accent choices are intended to be used, the inclusion of non-accented alternatives gives the opportunity for a monochrome build, to appreciate BBQ teal in all its glory.
I am spearheading this run and will aim to keep the cost of DCS Good Morning as low as possible. The set will run non-profit as we are in it solely for the passion.
DCS Good Morning was a non-profit keyset inspired by a group of friends, organised and distributed by myself (BasilKeys) in the UK, LéHoy in the EU, and ninjabrer (KokiCraft) in the US. The set sold 76 base kits and received three community-organised child kits (40s, minibars, and 6u spacebar). It fulfilled in October 2025 to buyers around the world.
Extras are sold and the Discord server is rebranded to the latest project, but support is still available for customers until September 2026.
